Manufacturing Operator
Compensation
- 1st Shift: $18.00/hour
- 2nd Shift: $19.00/hour
- 3rd Shift: $20.00/hour
- Weekend Shift: $20.00/hour
Employment Details
Employees are initially payrolled through a staffing agency for an introductory period of up to 90 days. Upon successful conversion to Dymotek, benefits become available on the first day of the month following 30 days of employment.
What You'll Do
A Manufacturing Operator plays a critical role in producing high-quality products that meet the exacting standards of our customers. You'll operate molding equipment, perform quality inspections, support production processes, and help ensure every product leaving our facility reflects Dymotek's commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Prioritize safety in everything you do
- Inspect, assemble, and verify products to ensure they meet visual and dimensional quality standards
- Accurately complete inspection documentation and production records
- Package products correctly while maintaining traceability, labeling accuracy, and part counts
- Perform basic troubleshooting of production and auxiliary equipment
- Communicate quality concerns, equipment issues, or safety matters to supervisors and lead operators
- Complete route sheets, and follow work instructions and quality procedures to meet customer and internal requirements
- Operate injection molding presses, including gate-tended operations
- Utilize equipment such as sonic welders, heat sealers, shrink wrappers, and granulators during assembly processes
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and equipment
- Track production output and scrap accurately
- Follow HACCP and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements
- Support production needs at both our Somers and Ellington facilities as business demands require
- Maintain reliable attendance and contribute to team success
- Assist in additional functions that support organizational goals
What We're Looking For

Qualified Candidates Will Have

- On-the-job training certification, final audit training, and Gemba/value analysis training
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Basic mathematical skills
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Good hand-eye coordination and motor skills
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and move throughout shifts of 8 to 12 hours
- Ability to regularly reach, bend, twist, pull, push, and perform repetitive motions
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, including an average of 20 cartons per day
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates with the following experience are encouraged to apply:
- Previous manufacturing experience
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards
- Experience using IQMS and Microsoft Teams
